What happens after you apply

Track it in Activity
Open Activity, then Jobs. Use the filters All, Pending, Active, Shortlisted, Approved and Rejected, or search your applications. Tap one for Application Details, where you can add private Notes.
The stages
Your application moves through these states as the business works through it:
- Received: they have your application.
- Under Review: they're looking at it.
- Shortlisted: you're on their shortlist.
- Contact: they want to get in touch. This opens a chat (see Messages).
- Hired or Declined: the outcome.
You may not hear about every stage; a business can skip some. You're notified of each move except your own.
A declined or hired result can be delayed
A decline is held back until 24 hours after you applied, so an early decline doesn't reach you sooner. A hire shows after about an hour. Until then your application looks as it did. Once it shows, you're notified.
No reply
Nothing is promised. If the job closes you'll see "This job is no longer available".
Your options
You can Withdraw a live application or Archive it. If the business is no longer for you, Unfollow Business.
