Deleting your account

Delete it in the app
- Open Settings (the gear icon on the Resume, Follow, Apply and Activity screens).
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Read "This permanently erases your profile, resume and your messages with employers. It cannot be undone." and tap Delete.
Your account is deleted straight away and you're logged out. There's no undo. If it fails, the app says "We couldn't delete your account right now. Please try again."
What happens
- Your profile and resume are erased.
- Your active applications are withdrawn.
- Messages you sent are removed, and the business sees that you deleted your account.
- Your swipes, matches and device notification tokens are removed.
Some records, such as billing records the law requires us to keep, may be held for a limited time. The full list is on Request data removal.
Just log out or take a break?
Log Out is in the same Account section and keeps your account. To stop only notifications, use Settings. See Notifications.
Prefer email?
Email [email protected] from the address or phone number on your account, with the subject Data removal request. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and finish within 30. Details are on Request data removal.
